After the May debut of the Nike Sportswear line in Beijing, Nike has now put together a website dedicated to this new collection that takes it’s inspiration from the multi-cultural event that the Olympics represents. In a year that there has been more disappointments than successful releases of Nike’s Air Force 1, the push of AF1 takes on new steam with the Nike 1World project. It pulls together 18 of the world’s most creative and innovative personalities of sports, music, art and design as each are given an Air Force 1 to design. The 18 designs will releases over the next 8 months with the first batch of three that includes the Pedro Winter AF1 Low (Paris), Nitro Microphone Underground Gore-Tex AF1 Low (Tokyo) and Rasheed Wallace AF1 High (Philadelphia).
