Video Game: Godfather II - Journalist Gangsta Pack

the-godfather-ii-20090407025302799_screen001

Godfather II, a Grand Theft Auto-style adventure, tried to leave a lasting impression with video game journalists.   In the pack, they gave a set of brass knuckles, as well as other goodies including a cigar, a silk handkerchief, and a book of matches.  Although it nicely complements the game’s mafiosi theme, it is also illegal, as mere possession of brass knuckles is illegal in many states and can carry hefty penalties.  EA had no comment and is working on assisting journalists in proper disposal of the items. via Plugged In

Nike keys in on the huge “Gamer” population with several video game console inspired kicks.  The most recent release is this Nintendo Wii Blazer that will be part of a Summer release pack.  It features a solid white upper with orange stitching, a Nike on/off tongue logo, a blue-tinted clear sole and transparent microchip printed lacing panels.  Additional accents include white ostrich material on the heel and laces that are similar to the strap from the Wii controllers.  This should be a hit with gamers and non-gamers. via Sneakernews | weeklydrop
