District Footwear in Alameda has received Vans’ new SK8-Hi Varsity Pack. Each pair is hit with the numbers “19” and “66” (1966 being the year Vans began) embroidered on the backside. Comes in either red or blue and should be a perfect match for most varsity jackets.

Sneaker companies tend to borrow from each other every now and then. With this Vans Quilted Slip-On Pack, we see a strong resemblance to UBIQ’s usual treatment to their Fatima. Releasing in the Fall 2009 season, these tonal uppers and white midsoles are almost perfect for any outfit.

Crooks & Castles has done it right with their 2nd collaboration with Vans on this newly designed Moda Hi sneaker, a mix of the SK8-Hi and Mountain Edition Hi. Sticking with their luxorious MO, The Crooks had an Epi Leather treatment to the uppers and a mid strap. Set for a March 2010 release. Let’s hope for a red version.
