Familiar faces include Albert Einstein, Henry David Thoreau, Karl Marx, Sigmund Freud and William Shakespeare. Each design is portrait with a little commentary related to their life’s work. Stussy has finally unveiled a clearer look at their collaboration project with Hellz Bellz entitled, Ladies First!! It offers the ladies a capsule collection of t-shirts, tops and accessories. The drop is set for Saturday March 7th, 2009 at Stussy Chapter Stores and select Stussy accounts. via Hypebeast
Stussy dug up some of their most classic ads and had artist John Pound re-work them. John Pound was the original artist for the popular first series of Garbage Pail Kids trading cards that were released by the Topps Trading card company during the 1980s. Each card was a sticker that featured a Garbage Pail Kid character, with some comical abnormality or suffering some terrible fate, and a humorous, word-play name. These shirts are now available at Haven.
For those that are miles away from Sin City, Las Vegas, here’s a look the Haze installment at the Stussy Las Vegas Store. This past December, Haze gave the white walls a nice treatment of red and black with his classic styling.
