Part of Stussy Deluxe’s Spring/Summer 2009 collection are a couple of items created with kevlar coated material. Meant to keep you dry, the M-65 windbreaker jacket, 5-panel cap and the stadium jacket will do the job as the Spring showers come. All three pieces are available at The Reed Space.
For November, A Bathing Ape (BAPE) releases their newest jackets that are part of the 2008 Fall/Winter line. As Bape fights to stay relevant, they are coming through with style that have a more broader appeal with less flashiness that they have been known for. With the Olympics kicking off in a few weeks, more of the Nike Olympic Birds Nest Stadium Pack has popped up in stores. Most recently is this Nike Huarache 2008 covered in the same abstract pattern of the Birds Nest Stadium mixed in with a black suede upper along with blue and purple accents.
With the MLB All-Star Game returning to “soon to be demolished” Yankee Stadium this summer, Nike has arranged for a special Air Force 1 release to celebrate this occasion. July 4th is the official launch date of the “All-Star” NYC Air Force 1 High that features familiar white/navy pinstripes and a gum sole bottom along with special AF1 like NYC inscribed on the lace tag and a cursive NYC on the heel rather than the traditional Nike Air logo.
