With a focus around deconstruction, the shoe are made in an inside-out and backwards style. 2009 will be the year of more simplistic designs that can be worn both on the streets on at more casual functions. Part of this movement are the highly reported Undercover x Fragment Design x Nike Match Classic HF has finally released in beige, navy and black, featuring a suede upper with a vintage look and a white mid-sole that has the Undercover and Fragment Design logos. After a stressful end of 2008 of last minute Christmas shopping and work, I decided to give a gift to myself for all the hardwork. To kick off my shopping habit for 2009, I picked up this Visvim Hockney in black from the Huf store on Hayes. Got to catch up with J-Billion and Nao on a few things like 2009 Huf goods. The shoes are a little pricey, but well worth it in my opinon.
The Nike Air Presto has quite a cult following and new colorways has been few and far between lately. That will change this year with at least 6 new colorways to mark down on your list of must buy items for this year. Looking real nice are the solid colored uppers versions. The Nike Air Max Light was first released back in the late 80’s and its return has pleased retro runner fans with several interesting colorways. It is a mix of medium grey soft fabric, dark obsidian leather, white mesh and on the tongue white mesh and inside fresh white lining, resulting in a clean colorway for those that like leaving the flashy colors at home for a day. Denim & Nikes normally equal instant success in most cases. Nike Sportswear focuses on the Terminator and it will feature “true” Selvage Denim accented with brown, white and red stitching, copper rivets, pocket flag and leather tag. These is 2 different colors of blue denim on the upper with leather on the toe cap and back heel with brown stitches. Denimheads will appreciate the selvage on the tongue.
