SlamxHype formally introduces their collaboration with Michael Lau on a figurine to celebrate Mr.Lau’s Gardener 10th anniversary. The toy is limited edition of only 100 pieces and it mixes in Slam x Hype ’s identity with Michael’s creative vision. The festivities and toy release will take place on September 30th at 6 p.m. at the transformed De La Barracuda store. Flyer and more detail with pics after the jump!
SlamxHype been working on their first art exhibition called, Bailout. They have assembled a cast of talent consisting of Jeff McMillan, Michael Leon, Steven Daily, Anthony Lister, Kevin Lyons, Butcher Block, Misery, Andrew Pommier, Robert Abeyta Jr., Jon Dragonette, and Ekundayo, who all has created original art work especially for this group show. The show is also sponsored by Nike Sportswear, BLENDS, Oakley, and Span of Sunset. This is the first of what will be many events that are part of their new Solidified by SLAMXHYPE initiative.
