Each season superFishal introduces a new series of three collaborative board graphics which are screenprinted in small limited editions.  The concept is to take two artists with completely different styles and have them converge to make a really unique board graphic.  This Fall/Winter season sees Jeremy Fish collide with skater/artist Andy Howell to form ‘The Spirit’ deck, which features a couple of Jeremy’s classic
figures set in a back drop of Howell’s intricate brush strokes.  In his collaboration with Mike Giant entitled ‘The Serpent’ we see Jeremy’s style mashed into Mike’s tattoo based creations.  And Jeremy’s conspiring with Scrawl Collective’s Will Barras leads to a board called ‘The Stack’ which features the motorcycle version of Noah’s Ark.  Each board retails for $80 at upperplayground.com

At the launch of a recent NYC sneaker launch, Vans was giving out this skateboard designed by Taka Hayashi to friends, family, and VIPs.  The graphic is from the Authentic LXs that Taka designed earlier this year.  No word on a retail release of this deck.

This “Hong Mutha Fucking Kong! Hong Mutha Fucking Hawaii Skate deck is a colab between Hong Kong’s Premiere skate shop 8FIVE2 located in Causeway Bay and Hawaii’s In4mation.  The background in the lettering is Hong Kong’s Flower making the  Floral Pattern.  It’s now Available at the In4mation Ward Store in limited amounts. (sizes 7.5 & 7.75)
