Ransom Holding Co. was given the opportunity to work with adidas Originals on the RANSOM by adidas Originals Footwear Collection.  The collection, “footwear crafted to withstand a rugged lifestyle and made for individuals continuously searching for a life well-led and a good story to tell”,  features several new styles will be released at the end of this month on Halloween, October 31st.

Monday, August 25th marks the debut of the S.L.A.T.E. trade show in Las Vegas. There will be a party that night at The Palms Moon nightclub featuring EPMD, DJ Wristpect and DJ Neil Armstrong. This event is brought to you by Stussy, Undefeated, Ransom, S.L.A.T.E. and Complex Magazine. There’s also a special edition Stussy tee for the event.

Since their debut in 1988, the legendary hip-hop group EPMD (made up of Erick Sermon and Parrish Smith) has been producing classic albums like Strictly Business for their fans. The duo from Long Island sampled funk and rock beats under lyrically clever rhymes thus contributing to the new direction of sample heavy hip hop as we know it today. They have been working on a new album, We Mean Business, scheduled to release in September 2008.
