Converse’s humanitarian-based (PRODUCT) Red project works with Huf as they unexpectedly go with the Skidgrip instead of the Chuck Taylor as the base. Nice detailing like the H monogram on the canvas uppers, red upper eyelet and crossbone embriodery on the white ankle support. No release date at this time.

Last week, St. Alfred’s in Chicago, released Lupe Fiasco’s “100 Suplement Hi” Chuck Taylor. The shoe is part of Converse’s Product Red division and it features a white canvas base with black text imprinted on. Lupe happended to be on hand to meet and greet those folks. Several Converse accounts like Major in D.C., got in the Wood Wood Chuck Taylors that are part of the One Hund(red) global project to help fight AIDS. These primarily grey joints are given wool uppers on top of dark grey soles and a Wood Wood hit on the tongue.

He chose a classy all-black patent leather pair of Chucks with a special rubber toecap and patent leather heel patch.
