Kaws knows how to place his characters and well-known designs on his OriginalFake clothing, resulting in wearable pieces that aren’t over-bearing. The fall/winter collection will have hoodies featuring the Kaws teeth print along the zipper and buttons with his trademark “XX” embroidered along the sleeve cuffs, as well as one of his characters on the back of the black hood. Part of the on-going collaboration for Original Fake, Kaws and Mark Dean Veca tagged teamed on this Veca-penned rendering of XX-eyed mastermind’s classic Blitz bomb character. The original work is on a wall at Kaw’s home, but a t-shirt design of this work will show up in the Fall 2008 Collection.
