The Nike Sportswear 2009 Fall/Winter Lookbook gives us a better understanding of the evolving direction of NSW and their approach to take on the streetwear segment. Slim fitting cuts and mixture of sports gear and lifestyle wear, the collection is impressive.
The LIVESTRONG Nike Sportswear Firefly Jacket fuses lightweight protection with Nike’s most innovative performance materials. Borrowing from the best of outdoor apparel, the cycling-inspired NSW Firefly jacket was created and designed by people who really ride bikes.
The jacket is made from a 35 gram recycled poly-taffeta fabric and features laser cut breathability at the neck, hood peak with internal drawcord channel, a fully adjustable bottom hem and storm flap to keep the wearer warm and the weather out. As a final testament to the Nike Sportswear design principle of form following function, this lightweight jacket collapses on command into the packable chest pocket and includes a caribeener to connect to a belt loop for carrying ease.
The Livestrong Firefly Jacket is available now in the US exclusively at UNDFTD and Daves Quality Meat, where you can also enter-to-win a custom-made track bike. 100% of the proceeds go back to the Lance Armstrong Foundation for cancer research.

The shoes, inspired by mint and chocolate, which is behind the mis-matched pair that features a reptilian skin upper. The shoes will be released this Saturday July 11th at swagger store locations in Japan.
Nike pays tribute to one of New York’s Jones Beach. It is one of the Big Apple’s most beloved location to spend the hot summer days. Nike Sportswear slaps together this clean Air Force 1 that features lightweight canvas uppers with a leather panel back side and “Jones Beach” accents on the tongue, insole, and outsole.

The Alife Rivington Club (ARC) aligns itself with Nike Sportswear for a second round, but this time on a pair of black supreme Dunk Highs. This Dunk features material from Schoeller, an innovative fabrics company in Switzerland, the shoe is made with Cordura and Dynafil TS 70 that is resistant to friction, water, dirt and oil repellent. The ARC logo is on the side heel and the they also applied 0.44 sticky rubber is featured on the gum sole for better grip. Look for this pair at select Nike Sportswear accounts in July and also at Kix-File’s online store.
