SlamxHype been working on their first art exhibition called, Bailout. They have assembled a cast of talent consisting of Jeff McMillan, Michael Leon, Steven Daily, Anthony Lister, Kevin Lyons, Butcher Block, Misery, Andrew Pommier, Robert Abeyta Jr., Jon Dragonette, and Ekundayo, who all has created original art work especially for this group show.  The show is also sponsored by Nike Sportswear, BLENDS, Oakley, and Span of Sunset.  This is the first of what will be many events that are part of their new Solidified by SLAMXHYPE initiative. The base shoe that Nike founded their company on was the Waffle Trainer in 1974. Nike Sportswear honors this shoe with a BBC/Icecream like  “Waffle” Windrunners. Available in two colorways with the waffle silhouette on the upper section and Nike badging in the form of butter.  via Hypebeast

Come November 28th, DJ Clark Kent next Nike designed sneaker will drop. The shoe will be an Air Force 1 based on the biggest shopping day of the year, “Black Friday”.   DJ Clark Kent obviously stuck with black with what looks to be white contrast stitching. The shoe will drop at three different locations along the East Coast of the US and DJ Clark Kent will be on hand for each release, starting off at Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer, the next stop will be Concepts in Boston and finally at Shoe Gallery in Miami.  via Hypebeast

Hong Kong vinyl toy artist, Michael Lau is the next to release his part of the Nike 1World Project with his “Psychiatric Ward”.  The end result is this Nike Air Crazy Force 1 sneaker and toy. The sneaker comes with a quilted upper and several laser etching on the tongue and side rear panel.  In true Michael Lau style, the toy “Crazy Michael”   gets the patient look and matches the Air Crazy Force 1. via KixFiles | TOMM
