The Nike Blazer is getting the ultra-limited treatment with this upcoming House of Hoops exclusive release. As a tribute to George “The Iceman” Gervin, Nike created this colorway of the Blazer for the man that rocked them during his NBA career. Colors are based on the San Antonio Spurs colorway and will be limited to hyperstike quanitity of 24 pairs only! Release date is TBD due to a shipping issue.
KixandtheCity.com is reporting that ex-Warrior Baron “B. Diddy” Davis has left Reebok to sign a deal with Chinese Footwear giant Li-Ning. This is a big move for the international company as Baron takes his new gear to the bright lights of LA’s Staples Center. Nike and Adidas better be on their toes!

USA Basketball just wrapped up their four-game friendly exhibition games with a close win over Austrailia in preparation of the Beijing Olympics. Nike created three special mockups of signature shoes for NBA star’s Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. The Friendlies Pack includes the Hyperdunk for Kobe, the Zoom Soldier II PE for LeBron and Olympia Supreme PE for Carmelo. All has the US National Team colors mixed in with various Chinese characters and influences. via Hypebeast
