Yesterday, Michael Jordan and his group that included  a sneaker designer, a P.R team, and an Olympic Gold Medalist packed a room at NYC’s Event Space for the unveiling of the Air Jordan 2009.  The sneaker was designed by Chicagoan Jason Mayden and it incorporates inspiration from the defense and striking tactics used in the sport Fencing.  via Complex
