Benny Gold was asked to work on the Mash collaboration with Cinelli. Pictured is a new colorway for a 2010 spring release. The frame is getting debuted this week at the interbike tradeshow and is covered in custom paint and frame stickers are meant to resemble the shape of the Mash lighting bolt.
Locally based and world renown, Mash SF’s spreads their influence on the bike scene through a range of Spring/Summer 2009 items. Pieces include - a Cheuy Summer Cap, a Lazy Monk pocket, the MASH Tour of California Team Kit, Defeet Socks as well as a MP3 Loudspeaker, USB connections and a RX6 light. All pieces are catered for those ripping through the streets on two wheels.

Here is the first drop of Benny Gold’s Summer 09 Collection. This season includes a collaboration is with San Francisco fixed gear movie / brand Mash on a “Gold Sprints” t-shirt. The “We Buy Gold” shirt is a high quality b&w photo print (Michael Simon) of NYC pawn shops . While the new logo stripes New Era is a follow up to the successful paper plane pinstripe cap a couple seasons back and is available in 3 colorways.
Benny Gold posted a first look at the pursuit track frame that Mash has been working on with Cinelli and is being shown at Interbike this week. Benny Gold was responsible for the designed of the bike. The custom paint and frame stickers are meant to resemble the shape of the Mash lighting bolt and give the bike a feeling of speed. Cinelli’s classic head badge worked perfect for the collaboration. There will be slight changes to the art before it goes into production, regardless it is already looking real nice.
Last year, Benny Gold traveled to Japan with Mash to premier the video, during that time he met with Alive Watches to discuss a watch series based on cycling. The concept behind the collaboration is to pay homage to San Rensho (which translates to 3 time champion) and the 3 cities that they are from (San Francisco, Seattle and Tokyo).
