The number 1 pound for pound fighter in the world and the pride of the Philippines, Manny Pacquiao, forces a dazed Oscar De La Hoya to quit after a punishing 7th and 8th round.  If you don’t know the Pac-Man by now, it’s time to take notice.  The fight was heavily in favor of De La Hoya for a 8-9 round knockout, was completely the opposite of what the “experts” were expect.  Manny took all rounds and outpunched Oscar 3 to 1, leaving the Golden Boy headed for the retirement sunset.  Check out some of the ESPN reacp here.

Capturing his 4th championship belt, Pacquiao aka Pacman aka Mexicutioner is now considered boxing’s best pound-for-pound champion by knocking out his latest victim, Diaz in 2 minutes, 24 seconds into the ninth round of the scheduled 12-round title bout.
