Pacquiao Makes De La Hoya Quit After 8 Rounds

The number 1 pound for pound fighter in the world and the pride of the Philippines, Manny Pacquiao, forces a dazed Oscar De La Hoya to quit after a punishing 7th and 8th round.  If you don’t know the Pac-Man by now, it’s time to take notice.  The fight was heavily in favor of De La Hoya for a 8-9 round knockout, was completely the opposite of what the “experts” were expect.  Manny took all rounds and outpunched Oscar 3 to 1, leaving the Golden Boy headed for the retirement sunset.  Check out some of the ESPN reacp here.
