During the time Nike was wooing back Kobe Bryant away from Adidas, he was seen wearing specially designed PE Air Jordan models in the Los Angeles Lakers colors, iincluding the Air Jordan III, Air Jordan VII, and Air Jordan VIII seen above. This Air Jordan VIII (8) is special because it is game worn and signed by Kobe. Check out the auction here.

Done up in soft and rich premium black leather upper, accented with ‘MVP’ along the heel that includes Kobe’s Sheath logo. On the inside there is a soft leather collar lining, as well as a leather insole that features graphics including a frame-by-frame drive to the basket silhouette of Kobe along with his regular season per game statistics and shooting averages. Rumors has this shoe produced under 100 pairs, so good luck getting a hold of one.

Shepard Fairey (Obey) was asked by Upper Deck to do a portrait of Kobe at his request. You’ll find a nearly 60-foot high version of this inspiring portrait of Kobe currently looking out on L.A. from the east and west side walls of the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood. These prints are tradition fine art lithographs, with beautiful pigment density, they are not offset lithography. There is two editions of this fine art lithograph have been produced, “MVP” and “KOBE”.
