Nike Zoom Kobe 4 (IV) - 2009 NBA All-Star Game

The technology being used on basketball shoes at Nike is helping get the shoes a lot more lighter along with more support.  With the help of flywire, the new Zoom Kobe IV weighs in at only 11.6 ounces, lighter than the Nike Hyperdunk.  The pictured shoe is for Kobe’s return to the 2009 NBA All-Star Game in February.  The colors used is a mix of red and white with gold accents. Kobe fans and sneakersheads will be hunting for these Player Exclusive (PE) Westchester Comets’ Nike Zoom Kobe 1. Westchester, one of the perennial high school basketball powerhouses in Los Angeles got hooked up by Kobe and Nike.  They took the Comets’ colors of Fire Red and Black along with the use of cement pattern and black carbon fiber.
