Mishka “Skyway Trippers” Fall/Winter 2008 Collection
“Skyway Trippers” is Mishka’s Fall/Winter 2008 collection filled with several cut and sew items. The popular Alexei denim model is back. It is inspired by late-40s cut with a straight leg with a low waist. An added model is the Boris that is a slim cut. You’ll also notice outwear that includes leather jackets and hoodies. Solebox x Asics Gel Lyte Jacket
Solebox just announced their Gel Lyte Jacket developed for our Solebox Gel Lyte III. The upper part is made of double layer mesh like on the shoes and inside is purple with a raincap in the collar. Another special piece of the jacket is the zippers are change color like on the shoes under sunlight. The jacket will be limited to 100 pieces and will be available on the release date of the shoes that drops on August 23rd.
Solar Powered Neck Tie & Jackets Powers Your Gadgets
Researchers at North Carolina State University have developed a way to charge your gadgets while on the move with solar powered clothing. Each piece uses a process called digital textile printing to leverage the blocky solar panels into neck ties and jackets. The tie even has a hidden pocket to hold your device as it charges. After conducting a five-day test, they found the clothing posed no significant health risk, including electric shock. One of the major flaws currently is the solar panels are limited to bending around a three inch diameter and should not be creased. via Gizmodo | JTATM

Numerous previews of iDiom’s 2008 Fall/Winter Collection have been circulating on the internet for some time now. Finally we get a look at each piece in detail designed this season by Staple Design and Fragment Design.
