Watch the video, courtesy of Walrus TV, to hear English’s views on censorship and commercialism, and its relationship to public space. You can also hear from the man himself about getting sued, spending weekends in jail and his move from billboard to canvas, and how that has shaped his work. If you want The Run UP in all its glory, you can get it online at the Upper Playground Web Store (which happens to be having a 50% off sale right now to celebrate their 10th Anniversary!).
