Part of the promotion of Eminem’s autobiography titled, “The Way I Am” two colorways of the Air Jordan II designed with Eminem’s handwritten lyrics adorning the upper were created.  Paul Rosenberg, Eminem’s manager leaked photos of the pictured version.  This colorway will be available for purchase and limited to 313 pairs, only available via the Air Jordan Flight Club website.  Set to release on December 18th, priced at $110.  via Sneaker News

The news dropped on Eminem’s book and collaboration t-shirt with Undrcrwn, but now we know that his favorite sneaker brand, Jordan Brand has come through with a special Jordan, featuring various handwritten lyrics.  Accompanying the shirt, Jordan Brand will also release an additional “The Way I Am” t-shirt to be released with the shoes.  The sneakers will be limited to 313 pairs (based on the area code of Detroit 313) and only available via the Air Jordan Flight Club website with a portion of the proceeds going towards the Marshall Mathers Foundation.  Release date is still unknown, but stay posted. via SneakerNews | Paul Rosenberg

Eminem event at NORT in NYC to promote his new book “The Way I AM” and this Family and Friends version of the Air Jordan II.

Rockstar Games and Jordan Brand join forces for a limited-edition sneaker basedon the soon-to-be released Midnight Club: Los Angeles, a game on Los Angeles street racing culture.  The Air Jordan II gets a custom Rockstar Games look with red and black patent with the official Midnight Club ‘Kanji’ symbol in red on the tongue.  The sneakers come in a custom-made etched acrylic collector’s box with a copy of Midnight Club: Los Angeles. There will only be 40 pairs will be made, but fans of Midnight Club: Los Angeles can  them online at  Rockstar Games Social Club or at Foot Action.  via SneakerFreaker

Those of you that wanted to know what a Jordan II and a Jordan III would look like as one shoe will have to wait no longer.  Come December,  the Jordan 2.5 releases.  It takes design elements from both shoes with the shape of the upper is predominantly from the II with hits of the III at the eyelets, tongue, and heel tab, as well  as the elephant print and the visible air unit.  WIth two OG colorways part of the release, you can’t go wrong with at least one pair of these.  via KATC

Estate LA is bringing back one of the most interesting concepts, the Maneki Neko tearaway fitted.  This Maneki Neko II features a detailed chopstick print on the outer and a peel away of the layer of sushi print.  Couple that with a fortune cookie satin liner and now you have an ill cap. Releases tomorrow, August 8th for $60 USD and 40 of the 48 hats are slated for retail at the Estate Flagship store.  via Hypebeast
