Tony Parker “EA Sports” x Nike Hyperdunk

San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker had the honor of covering EA Sports’ NBA Live ‘09.  Nike and EA Sports teamed up to create a limited edition Nike Hyperdunk that to drop this Saturday, October 11th in both LA and New York House of Hoops locations.  The sneaker is covered in a metallic silver upper with Tony Parker’s ‘TP’ logo along the tongue, as well as a silver pixelated toe cap overlay. The bottom sole is done with translucent rubber bottom and features an image of the actual NBA Live ‘09 cover art.  LA’s Beverly Center House of Hoops will be receiving 42 pairs, while Harlem’s House of Hoops will have 30 pairs on hand.  via FootLocker Unlocked Read More

Nike Hyperdunk Olympic Series

NiceKicks was on hand to photograph Nike’s new space in Harlem to showcase the future of US Olympic Basketball, The Commitment and part of the event was a display of Olympic Series Hyperdunks.  They created special editions for 8 international powers and a few Nike signature athletes in addition to the US Olympic model. The teams represented in this series include (pictured L-R above) Russia, Argentina (Manu Ginobili), China, Australia, Spain (Pau Gasol), Puerto Rico, Lithuania, and Germany (Dirk Nowitzki).

Nike “McFly” Hyperdunk & Undefeated Kobe Tee

Undefeated is releasing the most talked about colorway of the Nike Hyperdunk (McFly) on Wednesday, July 2nd.  We see from the new pictures that the sole of the McFly Hyperdunk is actually glow in the dark.  They will also release a special “MVP” Kobe Brant tribute tee and they promise a special guest appearance.

Nike Hyperdunk “Black Mamba” - Kobe Bryant

Marquesole just got some early pairs of the Nike Hyperdunk “Black Mamba” which are based on Kobe Bryant’s Olympic PE version.   Using the same navy blue and white colorway, Nike took the shoe a little further with black and white stripes on the inner side of the toebox, a laser etching of a black mamba on the outer toe box and snake scaling around the upper ankle.  Look for a retailer release in the coming weeks.

Nike “Mcfly” Hyperdunk

It looks like that picture that was floating around wasn’t a photoshop job.  Nike will be releasing a Mcfly inspired Hyperdunk.  The design similarities between the new Kobe Bryant signature shoe and the ever popular “never released Back to the Future shoe” are uncanny.  The shoe features a 2015 stamp on the tongue, speckled midsole, and the used of the flywire material.  Rumors are circulating that the release is next month, July 2008.  Marquesole has them early for a whopping $2015!
