NSB.org was able to secure pictures via Gumsoles of 4 Sample Nike SB Dunks from lows to mids to highs. Each has a very unique colorway and not much is know of the inspirations behind the mock ups. Although the one above looks similar to Charlie Brown. I believe it is said to release in 2009, but thats if they do release.
This newly released Nike SB Dunk High in this Anthracite/Metallic Summit White colorway popped up at UK SB accounts like Mischief. This clean colorway looks very similar to the Futura Dunk Low with the exception of the use of a darker blue versus the Futura’s nightshark. Along with the upcoming “Send help”-like Dunk Mids coming, many are wondering if Nike SB will be releasing back past colorways in different Dunk models. The Dunk high is currently a UK exlcusive, but that might change.
If you thought 2009 would be the year that Nike SB would stop making the Dunk a key component of their sneaker line up, we’ll you’re wrong. Days since the overwhelming sucessful launch of the Lazy x SBTG Nike Paramount Dunk, a glitch left 40 over orders. To help fix this error, Lazy and SBTG are gauging interest with another similarly themed Dunk High called the Paramount Redux. Available in Crimson and Clover, this style features some added bonuses including zip closure, lacelocks originally reserved for the SBTG x Nike SB Dunk Low and tags. Pictured is only an initial mock-up which will serve as the sample for the final product. Only those unsuccessful orders will have a stab at The Paramount Redux Dunk Highs. Most of these unusual colorways from the Nike SB camp, usually has a story attached to it. With these upcoming Dunk Highs, the colors lead many to believe it’s Marge Simpsons’ turn to get her Nike SB limelight since Homer had his released years ago. No release info at this time…
