Japan’s hottest photographer, Yonehara Yasumasa is currently having a show in Chelsea, NY. At the show, Jeff Staple was on hand and snapped this pic of a Yonehara inspired Greedy Genius Sneaker. The shoe is covered with his provacative photos of scantly clad women. Due out soon, so stay posted!
New at Leaders1354 is Greedy Genius’ collaboration sneaker with Lupe Fiasco, the Paratrooper. Very much like a Vans Chukka, these sneakers are done with both woven and reptile patterned leather on the uppers. Really nice treatment on the uppers, but the silhouette is too similar to Vans.
The new shipment of Greedy Genius’ Fall 2008 Collection has hit stores like Leaders and it comes with several new styles, including the collaboration with Bun-B on a Pimp C Tribute Cool Breeze -Vader. The other two models are the G-Town and the Apache. All feature a mix of premium and patent leathers and deviate from the Air Force 1 looking model that has been played out since the Bapesta.
