This is kind of a late pick-up post, but around mid-December I took the plunge into a new cell phone contract and because of the coverage, I went with Verizon.  I opt’ed for the new Blackberry Storm and it being a first generation version, it does have several issues like freezing, and slow response when rotating, but I think I’ll stick it out and hope that future system updates work out the kinks!  More application support would also help.  Patience is required…

The iconic image of Obama made by Shepard Fairey can now be replicated in your own version with the Obamafy Photo Booth plugin.  It is only designed for Mac users and it is a plug in for Apple’s  iChat application.   Download and install it from here.  via Knowtheledge

As the popularity of the Apple iPhone grows, so does the various applications and add ons.  To make the built in camera a little bit nicer,  USB Fever created a detachable magnetic lenses in fish-eye, 2x zoom and wide angle/super macro.   The lens is also compatible with other gadgets like Macbook and Smartphone.  Not a bad pick up for $16.99!  via CJL

Jeff Staple was in Japan catching up with Hiroshi Fujiwara and he showed him some of the things to come from Fragment Design.  One particular item is a collaboration with Incase on an iPhone case.  Two different colors - shiny black and matted grey both with the Fragment Logo.

The jacket is both wind and waterproof featuring, CLOT/PSP logos and badges and M65-style pocket placements.
