Leave it up to Futura Laboratories and Descente to revolutionize the packable windbreaker style jackets with their Camoflauge 4able Jackets. The jacket is (1) technical enough to run your iPod through the bottom pocket and tuck away your headphones to your ears and is (2) detachable where you can remove the sleeves to get cooler faster and give a different look. (3) the jacket is packable, so if your hot you can just fold it all up in to a little pouch. (4) imaginable camo Futura inspired pattern featuring his imagery that is available in two different colors. The jackets are available now at the FL Shop in Japan and soon to FL retailers here in the US.
North Beach’s Dark Side Initiative stocks the higher end of streetwear apparel here in SF and they just got in these Futura Laboratories Side Atom T-Shirts that come in black or grey. What makes the shirt special besides the classic Futura Atom design, is the fact that you get a Side Atom Be@rbrick with the purchase of the tee. Not a bad deal at all.
This newly released Nike SB Dunk High in this Anthracite/Metallic Summit White colorway popped up at UK SB accounts like Mischief. This clean colorway looks very similar to the Futura Dunk Low with the exception of the use of a darker blue versus the Futura’s nightshark. Along with the upcoming “Send help”-like Dunk Mids coming, many are wondering if Nike SB will be releasing back past colorways in different Dunk models. The Dunk high is currently a UK exlcusive, but that might change.
We’ve have seen select upcoming pieces from Futura Laboratories’ collection and now Japanese online retailer STLESS now has the collection available on-line for purchase. Futura’s signature graffiti style is apparent on all the clothing that includes denim, shirts, jackets, backpacks and fitteds. The collection might take a few more weeks to make it over here in the States.
