Upper Playground released a new round of comfy hoodies to keep you warm this winter. First up, they’ve got new hoodies from the UP line featuring the artwork of Usugrow and Morning Breath. The Hair hoodie features the lovely caligraphy lines that are unmistakably drawn by Usugrow. The UP Rugby hoodie features a very official walrus crest done by Morning Breath. Jeremy Fish went all out on his superFishal hoodies - the quality is all in the design and details. His Eagle hoodie features embroidered appliques and custom printed lining. The Bee Team hoodie features embroidered applique, custom printed lining, elbow patches and wooden button details. He’s definitely taking the plain old hoodie up a few notches. Sam Flores also has some new hoodies as part of his Twelve Grain collection. New styles include the printed 4 Turntables graphic and embroidered appliques for the Beat Cycle and Rainbow Lowrider styles. Since these hoodies are all custom, they come in great shades of grey, teal and olive - colors you won’t find anywhere else. Finally, Upper Playground has two new hoodies from the Estevan Oriol collection. The first, LA Round 2, revisits Oriol’s most famous image - a woman’s hands making the letters “LA.” The second features his version of a “Lost Angel.”

Upper Playground continues their partnership with Estevan Oriol by breathing new life into his work in the form of t-shirt graphics and accessories. Oriol’s latest series of tees explore topics including police brutality, violence and sex, while also bringing back some classics. The Estevan Oriol line is also expanding to include lifestyle products and the newest addition to the line is playing cards. The deck features Oriol’s photographs on the numbered side and his clean black and white logo on the back of the deck. With these cards, you’ll definitely be playing to win. Beginning on Thursday, August 14th , the pop up space will be transformed into a tribute to film legends Al Pacino and Robert De Niro as part of their upcoming feature film from Overture Films titled Righteous Kill. SA Studios Global, the creative agency of Oriol and Cartoon, was selected to create the film’s iconic poster, in addition to managing the street marketing for the movie. The pop up space will become the exclusive promotional headquarters for Righteous Kill and feature a tribute to the film’s stars. Highlights of the space include a customized movie poster wall of all of De Niro and Pacino’s films and plasma screens throughout the room showcasing Oriol and Cartoon’s favorite scenes from Pacino and De Niro’s film repertoire.
In celebration of the film, SA Studios Global has also collaborated with Upper Playground to create limited edition Righteous Kill apparel that will be distributed to key influencers in a variety of markets.
