Bape has grown to become a global brand with shops across the world, including the new location in Los Angeles. For November, A Bathing Ape (BAPE) releases their newest jackets that are part of the 2008 Fall/Winter line. As Bape fights to stay relevant, they are coming through with style that have a more broader appeal with less flashiness that they have been known for. Jackets include a letterman, a couple of vests, a stadium jacket, a camo down jacket, and a fleece. All are available now at Bape flagship stores. via Hypebeast
Ferrari Murakami stopped by BAPE Sounds studio to get some last minute work done and was given the 2008 Winter BAPE Magazine/Catalog. Covered in a Winter plaid slip cover, the book has cameos by Kanye, Big Sean, Pharrell and the Teriyaki Boys. More preview pics after the jump!
Another classic pair of sneakers has left my collection into the hands of friend that promises to take even better care of them and even mentioned taking them out every once in a while. Back in 2003, the unthinkable happened in the sneakerworld, Adidas collaborated with “sneaker copycat-er” A Bathing Ape on two series of sneakers (Superstar & Superskate). The 2nd series was a three pair release of Super Ape Skates that were available in black, olive and snakeskin. They came with 4 pairs of laces including two types of Bape Head Camo, Bape lace locks, and a hangtag that had the slogan, “Respect is Mutual”. With only 500 made and select accounts worldwide, these were a tough pick up. A random visit to Huf landed these sz10.5 and they’ve been on ice since then.

Released as part of the exclusive Nigo’s Favorite Shop are these special edition Stadium Jackets. What seems to be a pretty basic jacket, on the back is the spelling of “Bathing Ape” in different school fonts and colors. There will be black, blue and red available with a few showing up at Anytime in Hong Kong.
