To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of man’s first walk on the moon, Nike releases the Lunar Pack. The two sneaker pack includes an Air Max 1 and Blazer. Both shoes feature a the same mesh material while the navy Air Max 1 has an embossed “out of space” themed mudguard, the blazer mid is themed with a foil Nike swoosh. Part of Nike’s release for Spring/Summer 2009 is an Air Max 1 Quickstrike that packed with multi-colored details. At first glance, these sneakers look like a two toned pair, but around the ankle support is a rainbow like circular pattern , a tye dye look on the tongue tag, a splashed midsole and a splatter sole. No word on the collaboration behind this pair, but it will release on April 18th, 2009 at mita sneakers. via Hypebeast

Nike Sportswear goes “linen” with their new 3 sneaker pack that includes a men’s Air Max 1, Air Footscape TZ and a women’s Pocketknife. The AM1 and Pocketknife get’s a striped cloth application that is popular with several button ups during Spring, while the Footscape has a solid grey linen application. Two Nike classics from 1987, the Air Safari and the Air Max 1, has linked up 22 years later in this unusual mash up of the two sneakers. Releasing in Fall of this year is the Nike Air Max 1 Safari where the lower takes the White/Sport Red-Neutral Grey of the Air Max 1 and the upper gets the Tan/Charcoal-Black of the Safari 87.
