Nike continues to update their classic runners and this time is with the Air Max 1 and creating this Air Maxim 1. The new Air Maxim 1 is 66% lighter than the Original Air Max 1, clocking in at only 10.1 oz, thanks to the Acespan Mesh that was developed in 2008 for the Lunar Racer and the new Flywire technology. Releasing this Fall in the two AM1 OG colorways of red and blue.

The Nike Air Max 1 that started the advanced runner trend in the early 90s, gets a re-release in it’s OG colorway as a History of Air release. Look for pretty general release drop as these will hit Footlockers and sneaker boutiques like Overkill.

This pack is inspired from Apollo spacecraft which was designed by the United States in the early 1960s, landing the first men on the moon. The men’s Air Max 1 features a full metallic silver upper with white patent around the ankle and above the mesh made toe box. While the women’s features mint and silver colorway with upper consisting of leather, suede and a satin covered cotton toe box. Both pairs are available at Kix-File’s webshop.
The classic chlorophyll colorway of the Nike Air Trainer 1 gets caught up in a Air Max 1 flywire hybrid. Not as clean looking as yesterday’s Air Max 90/Air Trainer 1 hybrid, but still unique. There is a salesman’s sample available now on eBay. via Sneakernews
