The colorway is a fresh mix of white, red and brown with a 3-D effect on the back with the ox displayed. For the 1 year anniversary celebration of Taiwanese store PHANTACi, Nike stepped in to produce the Air Max 1 “The Grand”. Based on the grand piano, the sneaker comes in a colorway of white, black and gold patent leather with pink accents for the color of the Store. The insole has the piano keys running down it, which matches the Varsity Jacket they are also releasing. Sitting on top of a white midsoles, these simple yet clean pair of shoes should do well with the resurgence of popularity in retro Air Maxes. Made especially for the Chinese market, Nike has created a three sneaker pack that celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival (September 14th), one of Chinese culture’s most important events.
