Slam Jam x Nike Air Force 1

Slam Jam of Italy is on the verge of releasing a limited edition and some say a tier 0 Nike Air Force 1.  Dubbed the Optical Force, we assuming the resulting shoe will be one of those tricks on the eyes.  Releases on September 20th.  No word on if this is regional exclusive.

Nike x Daisuke Matsuzaka 1World Air Force 1

Added to the lineup of 1World Air Force 1, is Boston Red Sox’s Daisuke Matsuzaka rendition.  The Japanese born starting pitcher gives the AF1 Dragon motif with white hair and orange dragon skin.  Check out more detail at the Nike 1World site.

Nike Air Force 1 “Closing Ceremonies”

As the 2008 Beijing Olympics comes to an end this weekend, Nike commemorates this event with a “Closing Ceremonies” Air Force 1.  Flashing in bright metallic gold, the uppers are covered in a tribal Chinese patter.  The sneakers come in a special black 08/08/08 box and will be available onAugust 25th.  via Hypebeast | MILK with MSN

1World - Ladainian Tomlinson Nike Air Force 1

The Nike 1World project moves along with the Chargers’ All-Pro Running Back, Ladainian Tomlinson added to the mix of artist and celebrities. His design is pretty basic with pattern white leather and baby blue accents. There is a LT hit on the rear panel, in the shape of a lightning bolt symbolizing the Chargers. Releases in September for a cool $250. via Complex

Sir Lucious Left Foot Nike Air Force 1 designed by Big Boi

During an interview, Big Boi showed a Sir Lucious Nike Air Force 1 that he designed.  It’s named and based on his upcoming album “Sir Lucious Left Foot”, featuring Metallic Green and Gold with orange midsoles along with gum bottoms.  No word if these will stay as a hyperstrike, but you never know.   via Sneakerfiles

Nike Sportswear Air Force 1 Artwork by ilovedust

In celebration of the Beijing Olympics, Nike commissioned a number of artists to do a series based upon their products and this piece by ilovedust molds the iconic Bird’s Nest into an Air Force 1 design.  This particular piece was created in commemoration of Nike’s UK launch of Nike Sportswear, and created by ilovedust. via Freshness
