At Nike’s 21 Mercer, you can really do up a pair of Air Force 1 Bespokes. The one above is created by a guy by the name of, “Alex.” His pair mixes multiply-colored and textured croc skins with Kaw’s inspired X-shaped stitching. Undefeated’s Eddie Cruz also did up a pair of Nike Air Force Highs for the East and West Rivalry Collection. The shoe features a black base with navy scale-like material on the upper, black patent leather swoosh, obsidian patent leather straps and a black inside-out leather mid-sole and the outsole is also made of 0.44 sticky rubber. Representing SoCal and West Coast to the fullest, Eddie Cruz gives this Nike Air Force 1 Supreme a Los Angeles Laker look. The purple reptile print uppers are touched off with a bright yellow swoosh and the ‘0.44’ hit on the heel explains the use of Nike’s .44 Sticky Rubber in the sole. Drops next month in October.

It looks like Futura’s next collaboration with Nike is getting a little bigger with these Nike Air Force 1 High. Created with a Navy/White-Orange colorway and Futura’s signature logo on the tongue, as well as his script of Nike’s “Be True” Slogan on the soles. A sample pair is out before retail at OSneaker.

January 2010 will bring the next Futura designed Nike shoe. This Air Force 1 features a special fading perforation that gives the visual effect of the shoe getting darker in the rear. The tongue has a Futura tag and artwork that shows through with the clear soles.
To celebrate their 10 years since their debut album, Japanese hip-hop heavyweights, Nitro Microphone Underground, gets a special commemorative Air Force 1 Hi Supreme. The shoe features gold panels with heavy-duty black-on-black cracked print. The right tongue is woven with the year ‘1999’ while the left reads ‘2009’. The shoe releases as a September quickstrike.
