Check out this interview with the designers, Jacques Chassaing and Markus Thaler, behind the ZX range of sneakers for Adidas. Near the end of the clip, the two talk about the last two models to be released in the aZX range, the Z and the X, which have been hand made by th team of Markus and imagined by Markus and Jacques together.
Following the release of the Undefeated x Adidas AzX ZX8000, the two are back at it with a couple of long sleeve shirts. The design features the UNDFTD logo up front and the Adidas logo on the back. It will be avialable in these two different colorways, one matching the ZX8000s perfectly. Get your instore or on-line on Saturday, October 18th.
Another classic pair of sneakers has left my collection into the hands of friend that promises to take even better care of them and even mentioned taking them out every once in a while. Back in 2003, the unthinkable happened in the sneakerworld, Adidas collaborated with “sneaker copycat-er” A Bathing Ape on two series of sneakers (Superstar & Superskate). The 2nd series was a three pair release of Super Ape Skates that were available in black, olive and snakeskin. They came with 4 pairs of laces including two types of Bape Head Camo, Bape lace locks, and a hangtag that had the slogan, “Respect is Mutual”. With only 500 made and select accounts worldwide, these were a tough pick up. A random visit to Huf landed these sz10.5 and they’ve been on ice since then.

This is anew-look into Jeremy Scott’s upcoming collaboration sneakers with Adidas. There are these two new high-tops done with massive tongues which include the traditional adidas Trefoil logo. The latest Group Q - W includes Dave’s Quality Meats (Q - ZX 90), Alife Rivington Club (R - ZX 7000), SNS (S - ZX 450), Crooked Tongues (T - ZX 9000), Undefeated (U - ZX 8000), VA (V - ZX 9000) and Wood Wood (W - ZX 9000).
