Scenes from The Simpsons ‘Exit Through The Kwik-E-Mart’
These are scenes from this past weekend’s The Simpsons street art episode, “Exit Through The Kwik-E-Mart.” Artists featured are Shepard Fairey, Robbie Conal, Kenny Scharf, Ron English and Bart Simpson’s graffiti personality, El Barto.
As an ironic twist and possible reference to Mr. Brainwash, Fairey offers Bart a gallery exhibition for his art. Bart replies “If it’s in a gallery, how is it street art?” Shepard Fairey responds, “Bart! Street art is not about questioning authority!”
