Shepard Fairey Mural – “These Parties Disgust Me” for Deitch Projects
Being in NYC this past week, I noticed the wall on Houston being whited out. Now I see why. Shepard Fairey’s mural has appeared on the wall that sits on Bowery & Houston. Entitled “These Parties Disgust Me”, the piece is about the dysfunction of the two-party political system in Washington and also about encouraging activism. Hosted by Deitch Projects, the new Obey mural in preparation for the opening of the “May Day” show opening on May 1st.
