KATC secured an early detailed look at the 1WOLRD “Air ?uesto” - ?uestlove x Nike Air Force 1 Low. Designed by ?uestlove of the Roots, the “Air ?uesto” features a mix of Burgundy leather/Red canvas/Green Elephant print and a Gold Swoosh with a ?uestlove hit lasered in on the backside. Releases at the following locations:
Alife—New York [August 1st]
Ubiq—Philadelphia [August 5th]
Nike Sportswear at The Montalban—Los Angeles [August 6th]
and select Nike retailers on August 16th
“These Air Questo’s right here are an extension of my personality. Kind of all-over-the-place” said ?uest Love. “I just wanted to start off with a very loud statement, a sneaker that sort of has 12 exclamation points behind it. Something that just screams “Rahhhhrr” so you know, this is an extension of my personality. The inside (of the shoe) is of me drumming. Yeah, inside art is very important to me. Even though you’re the only person that sees it from a consumer standpoint but, I sorta know you put a lot of work into it as a designer based on how your shoe is designed on the sole.”
[...] The Air Force 1 ?uesto will be available August 5th at 6:00pm at UBIQ and someone will be lucky to get a hold of one of the 25 pairs with the gold toe. For those that pull the limited gold toes, you will get those in addition to the red toes and a special prize from The Roots. All boxes are sealed, so i prevents even the stores from tampering.
